What's the Aluminum Extrusions Heat Sink?
Aluminum extrusions are cost-effective solutions for the majority of electronic cooling applications. Extrusion profiles enable engineers to either select or start their design from a pre-tooled extrusion profile for the cooling solution. Applications can be for LED, IGBT, and IC devices or a wide range of other packages for electronics.
Extruded heat sinks are the most common heat sink used for thermal management today. They are manufactured by pushing hot aluminum billets through a steel die to produce the final shape. The most common aluminum alloy is 6063-T5, but other 6XXX alloys can also be examined as needed. The heated initial sticks are 30-40 feet in length and are very soft, which is placed in an extrusion barrel and pressure is applied by an extruder to make it flow out from a specific die hole to obtain a finned profile with the desired cross-sectional shape and size.

Aluminum Extrusion Profile Process Structure with Tools
All extrusion profiles can custom finishes (anodization) available upon request to meet application-specific requirements. Extrusion profiles heatsink need a wide variety of secondary metal fabrication & manufacturing , including precision cutting, milling, punching, drilling, and notching, are also available.
Extrusion profiles heat sink is usually made of aluminum alloy and other materials with good thermal conductivity and mechanical strength, such as the commonly used 6063 aluminum alloy, which is light, corrosion-resistant, and easy to process. While ensuring heat dissipation performance, it can also meet the use requirements in different environments.

Aluminum Extrusion Profile Heatsink for PCB
All extrusion profiles heat sinks can be customized according to different application requirements, such as adjusting the fin spacing, tube diameter, length, shape and other parameters to adapt to the heat dissipation requirements under various working conditions and meet the personalized heat dissipation requirements of different industries and different equipment.
