Design & Manufacture Heatsinks For Medical Devices

With the trend of miniaturization and portability of medical equipment, the highly integrated electronic components in medical equipment will generate a lot of heat during operation. If the heat cannot be dissipated in time, it will affect the normal operation of the equipment and even cause failure. Therefore, installing heat sinks and fans in medical equipment can effectively discharge heat outside the equipment to ensure the stability of electronic components and the normal operation of the equipment.

The heat source in medical equipment refers to certain internal components that increase in temperature due to rapid rotation or vibration and working under high pressure during the operation of the medical equipment. Due to the increase in temperature, these components cannot work normally and damage the medical equipment. Through investigation and research, we found that:

1. The heat sources of medical computers include graphics cards and CPUs;

2. The heat sources of ECG monitors include circuit boards and switching power boards; the heat source of laser therapy devices is the laser emission tube;

3. The heat sources of CT machines include X-ray tubes, circuit boards, and detectors;

4. The heat sources of DSA imaging equipment include X-ray tubes and circuit boards. The heat sources contained in products from different manufacturers are slightly different. For example, the heat source of Siemens DSA imaging equipment includes flat-panel detectors in addition to X-ray tubes;

5. The heat sources in nuclear magnetic resonance imaging equipment include magnets, gradient field coils, radio frequency coils, and gradient amplifiers;

6. The heat sources of linear accelerators include accelerating tubes, deflection magnets, accelerating tube coils, primary collimators, klystrons, klystron coils, pulse transformers, etc.
